A note from Lee

With grit, determination and a great deal of passion, my father, William Bloom built a company rooted in integrity and the spirit of partnership. As soon as I was old enough to work I was eager to be a part of it. My father insisted I gain real life experience first outside of the family business. Like a lot of kids my age, I worked part-time at McDonald’s, delivered newspapers and loaded trucks. I spent some of my free time watching my father work and finally, during my first summer of college it was time for ME to get to work. I spent that summer and each summer during my college years learning the family business. Once I graduated, I worked alongside my father and siblings and together we grew the business exponentially. In 2014 we sold Eastern Fish Company and I was excited to begin a new chapter. I launched AEL Seafood Enterprises in 2019 with a clear vision of the type of company I wanted to build — a company enriched with the expertise, high standards and values I learned from my father.

At AEL, I concentrate on what I am most passionate about; discovering new and exceptional resources, developing strong and lasting relationships and ultimately helping my customers maximize their business.
